Epic Padel, a North America–focused sports venture, has secured an oversubscribed $10 million seed round led by NowaisWorld and Stryde Ventures.
The funding will support the company’s ambition to establish a leading padel platform in the U.S. while expanding its reach internationally.
Founded in 2023 by Maryam Al Muslehi and Hala Sarkis, Epic Padel is positioning itself at the intersection of sports, lifestyle, and community.
Padel, a racket sport blending elements of tennis and squash has gained momentum in Europe and the Middle East and is now making its way into the U.S. market.
Epic Padel aims to address what it describes as “major global challenges” in the sport, including accessibility, scalability, and infrastructure.
With the fresh capital, the company plans to grow its U.S. presence while deepening global ties through cross-border partnerships, investment opportunities, and collaborative initiatives. Its strategy combines physical venues with digital platforms to create a full-service ecosystem around the sport.
“Epic’s mission is not just to grow padel in the U.S., but to provide a global entry point for the sport,” said the founders in a statement. The company’s long-term vision includes building an international network that links players, operators, and investors across markets.
The seed round’s oversubscription signals strong investor appetite for sports and wellness ventures, particularly in underserved segments of the U.S. market.
As padel courts proliferate across Europe and the Middle East, Epic is betting that North America is poised for a similar boom. One that could transform the sport into a mainstream fitness and lifestyle category.
